The Effect of Learning Cycle 9E and Self-Confidence on Mathematical Problem-Solving Ability

This study aims to determine the influence of the Learning Cycle 9E learning model on mathematical problem-solving ability, to determine the influence of high, medium, and low Self Confidence categories on mathematical problem-solving ability, and to determine the interaction of the Learning Cycle 9E and Self Confidence learning models on mathematical problem-solving ability. This study uses Quasi quasi-experimental design. The population in this study is students of class VIII MTs Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. The data collection used was a mathematical problem-solving ability test and a self-confidence questionnaire. Hypothesis testing using a two-way ANOVA. The results of this research are (1) There is an influence of the Learning Cycle 9E learning model on mathematical problem-solving ability. (2) There is an influence of the category of high, medium, and low self-confidence on mathematical problem-solving ability. (3) There is an interaction between the Learning Cycle 9E learning model and self-confidence on mathematical problem-solving skills.
