Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan metode talking stick dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) pada siswa kelas V SDN 158 Palembang serta dampaknya terhadap pembentukan karakter islami mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, yang kemudian dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode talking stick berhasil menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan, meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, serta mendorong keaktifan mereka dalam memecahkan masalah sederhana. Metode ini juga efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai islami, seperti tanggung jawab, kerja sama, kejujuran, serta adab dalam memberi dan menerima. Meskipun ada kekurangan terkait potensi perilaku kurang tepat akibat antusiasme berlebih, guru dapat memberikan pengarahan yang tepat untuk mengatasinya. Secara keseluruhan, metode talking stick terbukti menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam mengembangkan karakter islami siswa melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang aktif dan interaktif.
